Great Bay ACF

Smart Chef Certification Tip:

Make a committment to yourself!

When you decide to go for a certification make a committment to yourself. Be smart and make a schedule far enough ahead (maybe 6 months?) so you can set aside time weekly to practice or work on your certification paperwork. Other things in your life should not be completely ignored....You have to keep all the plates spinning!

Get the others in your life excited about and involved in the process (can they help?...maybe doing paperwork.?.. tasting your food?...or helping you organize equipment?) By being involed they will not feel left out!

Chef Murray B. Long, CEC, CCE is the chapter's certification chairman and specialist. He was the first person in New England to successfully pass the ACF practical exam and he knows all the ins and outs!
